You need true down time to re-connect with yourself, but you’re having a hard time getting it. Neither fluffy goddess time nor a “take a load off” girls’ weekend is going to cut it (even if you do enjoy drinking wine and doing your nails). You want something deep and heartfelt. You’re not looking to escape—in fact, quite the opposite: you want a safe, gentle space where you can drop into your life, not get away from it.
Depending on the retreat, there could be guided snowshoeing, nature walks, or wood-fired saunas. Or, there might be colouring and a really nice pillow pile. You’ll be able to relax into an experience that is planned for you, so you won’t have to worry about what comes next. Carving out the time you crave will help you move deeply into the layers of your life, your body, and your moment to moment experiences.
I regularly offer retreats that range from a three-hour afternoon at my beautiful Tiny Studio in rural Ottawa south, to a whole weekend away at a peaceful, residential venue that’s close to nature. Either way, I gather women in an intentional way, creating space for you to arrive as you are to experience deep rest and connection.
No matter if it’s a mini-retreat or a full weekend retreat, we’ll practice gentle yoga together and spend time meditating. And we’ll have the wonderful company of each other—plus comforting
cups of tea.
My retreats and workshops are offered in the spirit of dana practice, a Buddhist term meaning generosity. This allows a broader range of people to access these programs if they want to attend.
How does this work?
The registration deposit covers all costs for attending the retreat. By paying this fee you reserve your space and cover your lodgings, meals and any material expenses.Additionally, I will ALWAYS have spaces available at below-cost level. If you want to come on a retreat, I want you to be there.
At the end of the retreat there will be an opportunity to offer dana based on what you can afford. This will go directly to me for my teaching work and will be recieved anonymously (unless you choose otherwise) and with so much gratitude. Guidelines will be provided for deciding how much feels right.
I offer regular retreats throughout the year, with registration beginning a month or more in advance.
The best way to find out which retreat is coming up next is to subscribe to my newsletter. That way, you’ll always be the first to get the details and to know when registration opens.
